Development of Video Generators Apps for Reshet 13 Channel

Video generator apps are applications that create a personal video file for the user - whether it composed by different segments, texts that he has entered or information and images drawn from his Facebook account.

In the end of the proccess, the user will receive his own unique video, which he can download and save on his computer or device, and share on various social networks.

At "Slash Application Development" we developed two such applications for the "Reshet 13" Israeli TV channel (one of the two major channels in Israel):

Big Brother Passport

A Web application that was part of the Reshet 13 website and the Reshet 13 application, in which the user is asked to enter personal information - a school he studied, a city of residence, etc. After that, he is required to give the application permission to his Facebook account, and after waiting 30-50 seconds - the user will receive personalized video, which contains his personal information as he inserted them and appropriate images from his Facebook account.

Happy New Year Blessing

The Facebook and Mobile app developed for New Year 2015, in which the user selects a picture, text and a number of videos from the video clips of the channel's shows - and the app creates a video for him that he can share and send to his friends as a blessing for the new year.

In order to shorten the waiting times in the creation of the video, a smart array of five servers was created. In addition, a dedicated management system was established in order to receive information and reports regarding the use of the application.
